Snowboarder, 20, dies after attempting jump at Snowmass



ASPEN — A 20-yr-previous snowboarder died after trying a leap in a terrain park at Snowmass in western Colorado.

The Aspen Occasions reported the man, whose identify and hometown have not been launched, crashed while making an attempt to jump at the Makaha Terrain Park on Sunday morning. Aspen Snowboarding Co. spokesman Jeff Hanle says ski patrollers discovered the man unresponsive with no pulse and were not capable of revive him.

The bounce is slightly below the Village Categorical raise, which was briefly shut down after the accident. The terrain park remained closed Sunday afternoon as ski patrollers continued their investigation.
