Police offer reward for information on man’s death

COLUMBUS– Police are nonetheless looking for info on a suspect in a homicide case from 2017.

On Oct. 10, at approximately 9:00 p.m., Columbus police have been sent to the world of E. fifth Avenue and the ramp to James Street on a call of a person mendacity partially in the street.

When officers arrived, they discovered a person, later identified as Ulrich Smith, suffering from a gunshot wound.

Smith was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced lifeless.

Police say Smith seemed to be walking residence from a COTA bus cease.

Smith leaves behind a wife and son.
