A pal of well-liked rapper Well-known Dex is suing Hyatt Place Denver Airport claiming that poor security allowed someone from an unruly crowd of followers to shoot him in the knee outdoors the performer’s room, a lawsuit says.
Rapper Dexter Gordon’s 26-yr-previous pal, N’Sangue Augustine, sued Hyatt Place, 7700 E. Arapahoe Street on Tuesday in U.S. District Courtroom in Denver. Augustine is looking for unspecified damages and attorneys charges towards Hyatt.
A telephone message left at Hyatt media headquarters in Chicago was not instantly returned on Wednesday.
Augustine was touring with Gordon, a Chicago rapper, on Aug. 16, 2016, once they went to the lodge following a performance. Well-known Dex has launched rap songs that have appeared on Billboard Prime one hundred, including “Decide It Up” featuring A$AP Rocky.
Augustine left the lodge room the place he and the rapper have been staying to get dinner, and he advised a lodge employee that he was staying with an “artist” and they didn’t want to be disturbed, the lawsuit stated.
But a crowd of fans entered the lodge and asked employees members which room Well-known Dex was in after which gathered outdoors room one hundred and five, the place the rapper was staying, the lawsuit says. They have been loudly asking for autographs. Lodge employees members made no effort to protect the 2 males or name police, the lawsuit says.
When Augustine requested the gang to go away so he and Gordon might get some relaxation, one of the fans pulled out a hand gun and shot him within the knee, the lawsuit stated.
