SAN DIEGO — Police Friday have been investigating the dying of a person whose body washed up behind an outlet mall close to the U.S.-Mexico border.
The unidentified man was found someday Thursday within the Tijuana River coated in mud and particles behind the Las Americas Premium Retailers, less than mile from the San Ysidro Port of Entry.
In line with police, the person “appeared to have been there for a while” and initially exhibited no obvious injuries, because of the body’s situation.
Nevertheless, a Friday post-mortem revealed unspecified “traumatic injuries,” prompting a police investigation.
