GROVEPORT, Ohio – A kindergarten instructor within the Groveport Madison faculty district is on paid administrative depart after the district acquired a grievance concerning the instructor.
The instructor, whom 10TV shouldn’t be naming as no costs have been filed, is alleged to have been “excessively harsh when correcting a scholar” in response to a press release from the district.
The instructor works at Asbury Elementary Faculty and is on paid depart pending the results of the investigation.
The district listed three allegations towards the instructor in a letter explaining the reasons for her suspension:
- Allegation of conduct unbecoming of an educator
- Allegation of improper bodily contact with college students
- Allegation of improper language toward college students
The district contacted the scholar’s mother and father after studying of the allegations and reported it to Franklin County Youngsters’s Providers.
“The security and welfare of our college students is certainly our highest priority. The District will provide its full help to all investigating businesses. Should this allegation be substantiated, we’ll take swift and applicable disciplinary action, up to and including termination,” the district stated in a press release.
