Conor McGregor sued in South Florida after arrest

MIAMI — Combined martial artist and boxer Conor McGregor is dealing with a civil lawsuit after being charged in South Florida with stealing the cellphone of somebody who was making an attempt to take his photograph.

Miami-Dade County courtroom data present that 22-yr-previous Ahmed Abdirzak filed a lawsuit in search of greater than $15,000 on Thursday, accusing 30-yr-previous McCregor of battery, assault and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Miami Seashore police say McGregor was leaving the Fontainebleau Miami Seashore early Monday morning when Abdirzak attempted to take a picture of McGregor. Police say McGregor slapped the telephone out of Abdirzak’s hand after which stomped on it a number of occasions. Investigators say McGregor then grabbed the telephone and left the world. McGregor was later arrested on robbery and felony mischief expenses.

McGregor’s felony defense lawyer referred to as the lawsuit “a fast effort in search of a payday.”
