DEARBORN, Mich. — Former Vice President Joe Biden and other dignitaries are anticipated at John Dingell’s funeral after lots of of individuals handed his coffin and have been personally greeted by the family of America’s longest-serving member of Congress.
A funeral is scheduled for Tuesday at Church of the Divine Youngster in Dearborn, five days after the Michigan Democrat died at his house at age 92. Dingell served fifty nine years in the Home, retiring at the finish of 2014.
Former constituents and admirers lined up Monday at a performing arts middle in Dearborn to pay their respects. Dingell’s casket was in a ballroom while oversized pictures of his life have been displayed within the lobby.
