VESTAVIA HILLS, Ala. (AP) — Police in Alabama say a man and a toddler have been wounded in a capturing outdoors of a Vestavia Hills Chuck E Cheese when a gun within the man’s diaper bag went off.
Vestavia Hills police tell information retailers that the person was about to vary the woman’s diaper in a automotive outdoors the business when the gun fired a single shot, hitting them each.
Police say the woman was shot in the leg and the person was shot within the chest. Authorities say his wounds are critical. The relationship between the man and the woman was not instantly clear.
Lt. Michael Keller says investigators consider the person was looking for something contained in the diaper bag when he hit the weapon and it fired. He says the Saturday capturing appears to be unintentional.
