VALLEY CENTER, Calif. – Three Escondido males died and a fourth man was injured in a head-on crash between a pickup and a tow truck, on a winding rural street close to Harrah’s Resort Southern California, authorities stated Wednesday.
The collision occurred shortly before 6:15 a.m. Tuesday on Valley Middle Street, between North Lake Wohlford Street and Paradise Creek Lane, based on the California Freeway Patrol.
Miguel Saravia, forty four, of Escondido was driving a Ford F-one hundred fifty southbound when it veered into the northbound lane and crashed right into a tow truck, San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Workplace reported. Saravia and his two passengers, 22-yr-previous Cesar Daniel Nino and 30-yr-previous Carlos Bravo Serrano, have been pronounced lifeless at the scene.
Investigators stated the three males who died have been doubtless not sporting seat belts, CHP public-affairs Officer Mark Latulippe stated. A fourth man, who had been driving within the front passenger seat of the F-one hundred fifty, left the scene and was later found at a relative’s home in Escondido.
The man, later identified because the Ford driver’s brother, advised officers he left the crash scene as a result of he did not have his cellular phone, Latulippe stated.
Paramedics took the tow-truck driver to Palomar Medical Middle in Escondido for remedy of superficial injuries, Latulippe stated.
It was unclear if rushing or intoxication performed a task in the accident, although authorities found beer cans and bottles that had spilled their contents contained in the crumpled pickup truck, Latulippe stated. That discovery was inconclusive, because the containers might have burst open through the collision, the spokesman famous.
