1 dead after single-vehicle crash in Marion County

MARION, Ohio– Troopers from the Marion Publish with the Ohio State Freeway Patrol are investigating a single-car fatal crash.

The crash happened on Saturday at 9:15 p.m. on County Street 106, in response to OSHP.

Authorities say the driving force, Timothy W. Cobb, was driving eastbound on CR-106 and drove off the north aspect of the roadway. He then struck a area access drive, a ditch and rolled over several occasions.

Troopers say Cobb was not sporting a seatbelt and was ejected from the car.

Cobb was taken to Marion Basic Hospital where he was later pronounced lifeless.

This crash remains underneath investigation.
